Bye-bye Kitajima?

18 08 2008

Rumours are that Kousuke Kitajima, considered by many to be the best breast-stroker of all time, is considering retiring post these Olympics.

Kitajima stated,

“I will go home and make my decision about what to do. Retiring is a possibility, but I need time to think it over…”

Whilst he assures that he hasn’t made up his mind as to his future, the inside word in Japan is that he’s done with swimming.

What the hell does a retired breast-stroker do for a living? He better stay with it.

^ CM (aka Commercials/Advertisements)! He’s so big in Japan now. No doubt all the companies will be running after him to try to get him to endorse their products. He’s going to be raking in all the $$$$. I wouldn’t be surprise if his face start showing up everywhere in Tokyo.

Kitajima is definitely the greatest breaststroker of all time. He had a really great carreer, so why not go out with a bang.
