At a game between Blackpool Reserves and Burnley Reserves (English Soccer), a greyhound named Fool’s Mile managed to escape from her owner, and ran four laps of the pitch – halting play… and the crowd gave her a standing ovation.

The dog’s owner, Jane Holland stated that she thought that the lights, crowd and noise probably brought back a flood of memories for Fool’s Mile – who has eleven wins to her name, back in her halcyon days.

“It was as if all her old instincts came back to her,” Holland told Brit-news media, The Sunday Telegraph.

Yup, football’s gone to the dogs.
